Ultrasound Training

Our Mission

Ultrasound is widely used in clinical diagnostics, yet many incoming residents and students lack confidence and proficiency due to inconsistent training and a lack of objective feedback. Our device fills this gap by providing real-time, haptic feedback that helps trainees develop the muscle memory needed for accurate, consistent imaging.

What We Do

We developed a lightweight, attachable haptic feedback device designed to assist medical students and residents in mastering proper ultrasound probe pressure. The device uses a calibrated force-sensitive resistor (FSR) to measure real-time applied force and provides visual (LED) and tactile (vibration) feedback when the pressure falls within or outside the optimal range. It is powered by an ESP32 microcontroller and fits onto standard ultrasound probes without altering their functionality.

Our Competitors

We offer a significantly improved experience at a fraction of the cost

Ultrasound Simulators

  • Expensive ($10,000+)
  • Require specialized hardware
  • No pressure feedback
  • Limited portability

UltraFAST Device

  • Low-cost, portable
  • Attaches to existing probes
  • Real-time haptic feedback
  • Ideal for early training

Business Model

Our initial market includes medical schools, residency programs, and simulation labs seeking affordable, scalable training tools. Long-term expansion can target global medical education, especially in resource-limited settings. Marketing will focus on cost-effectiveness and ease of integrations to multiple models.
